Paul Erickson, a native of Richmond, is honored to serve as the city’s current mayor. Mr. Erickson holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the John M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. He is a career lender, with 30 years of credit, risk management, and leadership experience. Presently, Mr. Erickson is the Chief Credit Officer of Cache Valley Bank, a community bank headquartered in Logan, Utah.
Mr. Erickson served on the Richmond City Council from 2010-2019, where he had assignments for sewer, water, roads, sidewalks and buildings. He and his wife Leslie (also a former city council member) are the parents of two children. The Ericksons are active in a variety of religious and community service responsibilities, with family having been an active part of civic celebrations and city government in Richmond for many, many years.
In his spare time, the mayor enjoys all outdoor activities, travel, RVing, and cycling.
