The purpose of the Lions Club International is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among the people of the world. To promote the principles of good government and good citizenship. To take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and morale welfare of the community.

The Richmond Lions Club has been organized in Richmond since 1929. As a service club, the Lions are involved in providing a dinner in honor of our veterans, setting up Christmas lights on the park, providing an annual Easter egg hunt for the children, taking an active role in Black & White Days and provide ongoing care and development of the Nature Park at approximately 350 South 300 East.

A major service of the Lions is to work with the local schools and help provide eye exams and glasses for those in need. We collect used eye glasses to be dispersed throughout the world. Used eye glasses can be dropped off at the Park Community Center located at 90 S 100 W, Richmond.

New members are always welcome!!

For questions or if you have an interest in joining the club please call Richmond Lions Club President Steve Christensen at (435) 764-6745.
